Job summary

United Ground Express, Inc. is hiring to support passenger check-in, boarding, and baggage handling at the Rhode Island airport. You will work with reservation systems, assist passengers, and move luggage safely, while complying with FAA rules and company policies.

This role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. Drivers license and US work authorization are required to perform duties and access airport facilities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a computer to enter data and communicate.
• Ability to use radio equipment to communicate with crew.
• Fluent English reading, writing and speaking required.
• Must be physically able to stand, walk, lift and handle baggage up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull carts and move cargo in aircraft environments.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must possess and maintain a valid US state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Greet passengers and provide a seamless check-in and ticketing experience.
• Use reservation software to rebook itineraries and issue boarding passes.
• Ensure passenger information is accurate and flights are prepared on time.
• Assist with baggage tracking and respond to passenger questions as needed.
• Operate ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and bag carts to load/unload aircraft.
• Clean aircraft interiors and service lavatories as required.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and ensure compliance with FAA regulations.
