Job summary

United Ground Express seeks a dependable ground operations agent at SAV Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport. You will handle baggage and cargo, perform loading/unloading tasks, and support aircraft servicing in outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities include lifting up to 70 lbs, driving tugs and belt loaders, reading load tags, and maintaining safety and FAA compliance. A clean driving record and ability to work all shifts are required; English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid state driver's license with clean record.
• Credentials for position including fingerprint clearance and airport badge.
• Able to work day or night, weekends and holidays; overtime may be required.
• Must read, write and speak English fluently.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lift baggage, boxes, or cargo up to 70 lbs throughout shift.
• Push/pull carts during loading/unloading operations.
• Drive ground equipment to assist aircraft.
• Read load sheets and baggage tags.
• Prepping and securing aircraft for next flight.
• Clean interior and service aircraft lavatories.
• Communicate with crew using radio devices.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
