American Airlines is hiring a Full Time Customer Service Agent at Sacramento International Airport. The role includes ticketing, reservations, check-in, boarding assistance and handling passenger needs, with an emphasis on safety and service quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or international equivalent.
• Bilingual language skills in some locations.
• Valid driver’s license as required by local authorities.
• Must pass FAA background checks to qualify for SIDA access, if applicable.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Pre-employment drug screen and comprehensive background checks.

Responsibilities

• Issue, reissue and refund passenger tickets
• Book, ticket and confirm flight reservations
• Rebook passengers on oversold flights and during irregular operations
• Check-in passengers and assign seats; manage oversold seat issues
• Provide gate information and announcements
• Assist passengers with special needs and unaccompanied minors
• Maintain attendance and comply with overtime requirements
• Adhere to government regulations (DOT, FAA, TSA) and use internal systems
