Job summary

Park Place is seeking a friendly Parking Guest Ambassador to manage arrivals and direct traffic at our Brook Park, OH location. The role emphasizes safe traffic flow, exceptional guest service, and efficient parking operations in a fast-paced setting.

Shifts run 4pm–12am and 8am–4pm on weekends; flexible scheduling is available. The position is part-time with outdoor duties, requiring strong communication and problem-solving abilities to support guests and team members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience (per listed education).
• Minimum one year in dispatching, customer service, or related field.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle high-volume interactions.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic to parking spaces with clear hand signals and verbal guidance.
• Monitor areas to maximize space and prevent congestion.
• Enforce time limits and restricted zones in parking facilities.
• Assist guests with questions about availability, directions, and procedures.
• Resolve lost tickets, lockouts, and other parking-related issues promptly.
• Communicate with team to maintain efficient operations.
• Operate gates, ticket dispensers, and payment systems.
• Track occupancy, revenue, and incidents; maintain clean facilities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Purpose

At Fast Park & Relax, the Parking Guest Ambassador plays a vital role in delivering a smooth, efficient, and welcoming arrival experience for our guests. This position is responsible for managing parking operations within a designated area, ensuring safe traffic flow, maximizing parking capacity, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct incoming and outgoing traffic to available parking spaces using clear hand signals and verbal communication
• Monitor parking areas to ensure efficient space utilization and prevent congestion
• Enforce parking policies, including time limits and restricted zones
• Assist guests with questions regarding parking availability, directions, and procedures
• Resolve parking-related issues such as lost tickets or vehicle lockouts
• Communicate regularly with team members to maintain efficient operations
• Operate parking equipment including gates, ticket dispensers, and payment systems
• Track and report parking activity, including occupancy, revenue, and incidents
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized parking facility
• Perform additional duties as assigned

QualificationsRequired Education:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of one year of experience in dispatching, customer service or a related field.
• Experience handling high-volume phone calls and radio communications.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professionalism with diverse individuals.
• Ability to effectively handle stressful situations and resolve conflicts calmly and efficiently.
• Proficient in basic math and computer skills.

• Knowledge of parking procedures (preferred).

• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
