Job summary

Park Place Parking & Fast Park and Relax is seeking a dependable Parking Guest Ambassador for overnight shifts at our Linthicum Heights location. You will guide vehicles, answer guest questions, and ensure smooth parking operations with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate is customer‑service oriented, able to work overnight and weekends, and comfortable outdoors. Training will cover park procedures and equipment operation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year in dispatching, customer service or related field.
• Experience handling high-volume calls and radio communications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Direct vehicles to parking spaces with signals and verbal guidance.
• Monitor lots for space usage and congestion.
• Enforce parking rules and time limits.
• Assist guests with questions and issues.
• Operate gates, ticket dispensers, and payment systems.
• Prepare occupancy, revenue, and incident reports.

LOCATION: 1718 West Nursery Road, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090

$17.00/hour with review after 90 days for a pay increase of $.50/hour

• 12am - 8am Saturday & Sunday (this is an overnight shift)

About the Role

Fast Park & Relax is seeking a dependable, customer‑focused Parking Guest Ambassador to help manage parking operations and support guests throughout their parking experience. This position is essential to maintaining efficient traffic flow, maximizing parking capacity, and delivering outstanding service to all customers.

Job Purpose

To effectively coordinate and oversee parking operations in a designated area by directing traffic, monitoring parking activity, assisting guests, enforcing parking regulations, and ensuring a safe, clean, and well‑managed environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct incoming and outgoing vehicles to available parking spaces using clear hand signals and verbal instructions
• Monitor parking lots to ensure efficient space usage and prevent congestion
• Enforce parking rules, including time limits and prohibited parking areas
• Respond to customer questions about parking availability, directions, and regulations
• Assist customers with parking‑related issues (lost tickets, lockouts, etc.)
• Communicate regularly with parking team members to ensure smooth operations
• Operate parking equipment, including gates, ticket dispensers, and payment systems
• Prepare reports on parking occupancy, revenue, and incident activity
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure the safety and security of parking facilities
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Required Education:

  • Experience handling high-volume phone calls and radio communications.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
