Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Capital Project Manager to oversee capital and operating projects from initiation through close-out. You will ensure projects finish on schedule and within budget, coordinate with stakeholders, and lead engineering collaborations to maintain quality and efficiency.

This on-site role is based at the Mount Laurel, NJ site, requiring strong leadership, governance, and communication skills to manage complex projects and external agencies through to authorization and completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum five years of project management experience on airport infrastructure projects.
• Experience supporting design, construction, and procurement of construction contracts.
• Strong understanding of project development, implementation, and management processes.
• Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned capital and operating projects, ensuring they are on schedule and within budget.
• Review project scope and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure desired outcomes.
• Ensure stakeholder involvement throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure quality, timeliness, and cost efficiency.
• Oversee and review the involvement of outside agencies and execution of required agreements.
• Prepare necessary documentation for successful completion of Capital Project Oversight Committee and Board authorizations.
