Job summary

Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is seeking a Project Manager to oversee day-to-day management of multiple capital projects across JFK, EWR, LGA, SWF and TEB. The role requires responding to the Capital Plan and Agency Major Maintenance Program commands, with field work from airports and one day per week of remote work allowed.

Responsibilities include lifecycle management from initiation through closeout, risk assessment, stakeholder coordination, and reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering or architecture from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience leading the design, construction, and/or project management of infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of the principles, methods, and tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects and resources.
• Possess valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of infrastructure projects from initiation to close.
• Develop project scope, timeline, and budgets with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Engineering to secure resources and manage budgets.
• Track milestones, risk, and contingency planning.
• Prepare status reports for supervisors and executives.
• Support capital project authorization presentations.
• Ensure projects adhere to plans, specs, and schedules.
• Ensure proper project closeout per agency processes.
