Job summary

First Meridian Services is hiring a bartender to craft cocktails, beer, and wine while delivering exceptional guest service in a busy airport restaurant environment at Skyport. You will ensure a safe, clean bar area, verify ages, and handle payments with accuracy.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of bartending experience; formal training is a plus. Shifts run between 5 AM and 10:30 PM, including weekends, with benefits available after qualifying periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take beverage orders in a friendly and professional manner.
• Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes and guest specifications.
• Check the identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and bar tools.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, including opening and closing tabs.
• Monitor guest behavior and manage alcohol consumption to ensure guest safety.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain knowledge of the restaurant’s menu and specials to answer guest questions and provide recommendations.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns in a courteous and professional manner, escalating to management when necessary.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and inform management of any shortages or needed supplies.
