Job summary

Avolta is seeking a Bartender at the Santa Ana location to greet guests, take orders, and craft cocktails with accuracy and speed. You will also serve beer and other beverages, process payments, and communicate efficiently with managers and servers to ensure excellent service.

Ideal candidates bring bartending experience, knowledge of beer, wine and spirits, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. This position offers a non-exempt schedule and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Requires at least 1 year of bartending experience in high-volume or fast casual dining.
• Knowledge of beer, wine and spirits and their preparation.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend English and interact with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take drink/food orders; upsell where possible.
• Follow recipes and product directions for mixing beverages.
• Collect payments and operate cash registers; secure monies at end of shift.
• Follow alcohol awareness procedures and manage intoxicated guests.
• Maintain clean, sanitized and stocked bar; adhere to policies.
