Qualifications

• Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.
• At least 1 year of bartending experience; high-volume/fast casual experience preferred.
• Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits and their preparation.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and policy documents.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Hands frequently in water or water with chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and takes food and drink orders; upsells when possible.
• Follows drink recipes and product directions.
• Collects payments and operates cash registers following company cash handling policies; secures money at end of shift.
• Adheres to alcohol-awareness procedures to prevent intoxication.
• Follows HMSHost service, beverage, and cash handling policies.
• Keeps bar clean, sanitized, and well stocked.
