Job summary

HMSHost is hiring a bartender for Boston Airport F&B. You will greet guests, take orders, mix drinks per recipes, handle payments and maintain a clean, compliant bar environment. This is a non-exempt, on-site role with competitive hourly pay.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of bartending experience, strong beer/wine/spirits knowledge, and a friendly, proactive attitude to ensure top‑notch guest service at all times.

Qualifications

• Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.
• At least 1 year bartending experience; high‑volume dining preferred.
• Knowledge of beer, wine and spirits and their preparation.
• Friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing interaction with customers.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and twist during shifts.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Adherence to safety and sanitation policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders; upsell when possible.
• Follow recipes and directions for mixing beverages.
• Collect payments and operate cash registers; secure funds at shift end.
• Follow alcohol awareness procedures and manage intoxicated guests.
• Adhere to HMSHost customer service and cash handling policies.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized and well‑stocked bar.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
