Job summary

Smarte Carte is seeking a Baggage Storage Supervisor at JFK International Airport. The role is full-time and requires weekend and holiday coverage as needed.

You will lead the labor force in terminal areas to meet daily performance goals, support service delivery, and ensure safety and compliance. Responsibilities include scheduling, customer service, staff training, and collaboration with airline management and security officials.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership skills; previous supervisor experience preferred.
• Cash control experience preferred.
• General knowledge of vended service products preferred.
• Airline experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staff for effective performance of activities and response to fluctuating workloads.
• Maintain a safe working environment by monitoring safety procedures.
• Process bags stored and picked up, and handle lost and found items.
• Provide customer service to all customers and respond to inquiries and complaints.
• Maintain clean work area and cooperate with management and airline staff.
