Job summary

Elite Line Services is seeking a dedicated baggage handler in the airport terminal. You will move baggage between piers, monitor system displays, and assist technicians with routine maintenance and housekeeping.

You will also complete required paperwork and training while maintaining a strong safety focus. This role requires the ability to work non-traditional hours including weekends and holidays, along with reliable attendance and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to pass a basic aptitude test.
• Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Moves baggage from default pier to airline pier or make-up unit.
• Completes computer entries and paperwork for tasks performed.
• Assists Technicians with preventative maintenance and general housekeeping.
• Performs system walkthroughs and alerts Technicians to issues.
• Monitors baggage system displays and dispatches to faulted areas.
• Clears baggage jams on the system.
• May move baggage tubs within the work area.
• Completes all training as assigned and adheres to safety programs.
