Job summary

Professional Business Providers Inc. seeks a Control Room Operator for Burbank International Airport. You will monitor the BHS, coordinate with maintenance and airline partners, and respond to alarms to ensure safe and efficient baggage handling.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 2 years in operations or control room monitoring, and familiarity with SCADA/HMI and CMMS. Ability to work rotating shifts is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational certification preferred.
• 2 years of experience in operations, control room, or industrial systems monitoring.
• Familiarity with SCADA/HMI and CMMS platforms such as Maximo or similar.
• Strong communication skills and ability to multitask in high-pressure situations.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain airport security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time operation of BHS via SCADA, HMI, or CMMS interfaces.
• Identify and report alarms or faults to maintenance teams for action.
• Coordinate with Bag Jammers, Technicians, and Supervisors for corrective work.
• Log incidents and track responses per reporting standards.
• Control and restart equipment remotely after safety verification.
• Provide status updates on baggage flow to airline and airport operations.
• Follow SOPs for emergency stops, lockouts, and escalation protocols.
• Assist in verifying completion of preventive and corrective work orders.
