Job summary

Daifuku is seeking an Maintenance Technician to service baggage handling systems and passenger boarding bridges at our Phoenix airport location. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, diagnose faults, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 2 years of mechanical or electrical experience.
• Ability to work non-traditional schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Completes scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair of baggage handling systems and boarding bridges.
• Mentors, trains and assigns tasks to other personnel in the absence of senior staff.
• Performs basic maintenance: preventive, routine and emergency tasks, jams, inspections and adjustments.
• Diagnoses equipment failures under guidance and ensures safe operation.
• Reads repair manuals and schematics; follows supervisor instructions.
• Operates in tight spaces with appropriate PPE and fall protection as required.
• Completes safety training and compliance with company policies.
