Elite Line Services in an airport environment seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Baggage Handling Systems and Passenger Boarding Bridges, mentoring junior staff in the absence of senior technicians. The role involves reading manuals, diagnosing equipment, ensuring safety, and coordinating with senior personnel.

It requires basic electrical/mechanical experience and the ability to work non-traditional schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 years mechanical or electrical experience.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours including weekends and holidays.
• Preferred experience in an airport environment and conveyors/bridges.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic maintenance including preventive, routine and emergency tasks and clears system jams.
• Diagnoses equipment failures under guidance of senior personnel and ensures safe operation.
• Mentors and trains personnel; may lead in the absence of senior technicians or supervisors.
• Reads repair manuals and schematics to guide maintenance activities.
• Follows safety policies and completes required training.
