Delta Airlines is seeking a Ramp representative to ensure shipments and bags arrive safely and on time, while delivering a positive customer experience. Starting pay is competitive and ramp staff work 20–40 hours weekly, with opportunities for raises and benefits.

Qualificações

• High school diploma, GED, or high school diploma equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to speak English fluently.
• Must have basic computer knowledge.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift bags/objects up to 50 kg frequently; 50–70 pounds at times.
• Willing to work scheduled/shift work including afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Picks up, loads, unloads and transfers baggage, mail and cargo to and from the aircraft and coordinates timely arrivals.
• Protect cargo, mail from damage, loss and weather.
• Operate ground equipment such as plows, belt conveyors and tractor pulls in crowded areas.
• Load cargo into trucks and ensure each bag reaches its destination.
• Perform computer checks to confirm proper baggage delivery to passenger destinations.
• Demonstrate safety-conscious behavior in all work processes and procedures.
