Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Proven managerial and supervisory capabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English.
• Ability to coordinate across management and non-management teams.
• Proficient PC skills and data reporting ability.
• Comfort with shift rotations and weekend work when required.
• Experience budgeting or working with department budgets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates department activities through supervisory staff.
• Reviews reports and data to plan department activities and resolve issues.
• Delegates work and communicates policy to supervisors.
• Gives directions, meets deadlines, and coordinates with other departments.
• Monitors costs and prepares budgets with computer tools.
• Prepares reports for upper management.
• Evaluates procedures to improve department efficiency and practices.
• May initiate hires, promotions, or transfers.
• Works in a team environment and prioritizes multiple tasks.
