Envoy Air is seeking a capable manager to lead a department within its operations in New York. You will direct activities through supervisors, review data, delegate tasks, and ensure deadlines are met while coordinating with related departments.

The role requires strong English communication, budget awareness, and the ability to work in a team with rotating shifts and potential weekend work. Applicants should have a college degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Proven managerial and supervisory capabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English.
• Ability to coordinate across management and non-management teams.
• Proficient PC skills and data reporting ability.
• Comfort with shift rotations and weekend work when required.
• Experience budgeting or working with department budgets preferred.

Salary range - $65,000 - $81,624

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates department activities through subordinate supervisors
• Reviews and analyzes reports, records, and directives, and confers with supervisors to obtain data required for planning department activities, such as new commitments, status of work in progress, and problems encountered
• Assigns, or delegates responsibility for, specified work or functional activities and disseminates policy to supervisors
• Gives work directions, resolves problems, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work. Coordinates activities of department with related activities of other departments to ensure efficiency and economy.
• Monitors and analyzes costs and prepares budget, using computer
• Prepares reports and records on department activities for upper management, using computer
• Evaluates current procedures and practices for accomplishing department objectives to develop and implement improved procedures and practices
• May initiate or authorize employee hire, promotion, discharge, or transfer
• Must be able to work in a team environment and the ability to prioritize work and projects in order to meet deadlines and objectives
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision, report to work regularly and on-time, and be self-motivated

• Previous supervisory experience and knowledge of Envoy budgeting, policies and procedures, preferred
• Ability to work rotating shifts, nights and weekends, preferred
