Hawaiian Airlines is seeking a Cargo Agent to oversee safe handling of import and export cargo, including acceptance, documentation, storage, and aircraft servicing. You will work with forklifts and ULDs, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires lifting up to 70 lbs, HazMat and security-clearance readiness, and the ability to work varied shifts.

Competenze

• Must be willing and able to train and pass forklift certification.
• Must be willing and able to learn and operate a computerized cargo system.
• Ability to complete Hazardous Material training.
• Ability to consistently lift up to 70lbs unassisted.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, reach and grasp.
• Ability to demonstrate good customer relations skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with the public and all levels of employees.
• Must have a valid unexpired driver's license issued by a US state, a US territory or the District of Columbia.
• Flexible to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to obtain USPS Mail Handling Certification.
• Ability to obtain airport security clearance.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age of 18.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Mansioni

• Cargo Acceptance & Documentation: Accepts inbound and outbound cargo shipments, ensuring compliance with airline and regulatory requirements.
• Safely sets up, sorts, stores, and moves cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other handling equipment.
• Performs marshalling, loading, and unloading of freighter aircraft, ensuring safe and efficient cargo transfer.
• Prepares and submits U.S. Customs documentation for import/export cargo.
• Provides accurate and timely information to customers regarding cargo services, customs requirements, and shipment status.
• Accounts for charge transactions related to interisland, domestic, and international shipments.
• Performs clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and recordkeeping.
• Performs duties of lower classifications as needed to support team operations.
