Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks an Airframe Design for Survivability NG Fellow 1 for onsite roles in Redondo Beach, CA, Melbourne, FL, San Diego, CA, OKC or Palmdale. The leader will guide complex survivability work across programs, driving advanced design and integration for aircraft propulsion.

The candidate will mentor engineers, assume advisory responsibilities, and collaborate with government customers to advance survivability technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master’s or PhD in a relevant STEM field with extensive survivability knowledge.
• Experience with airframe design for survivability and material modeling.
• Ability to defend a survivability design posture across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead and advisor to multiple programs and sectors.
• Develop survivability airframe vision and roadmaps for edge technologies.
• Lead independent reviews and mentor engineers in discipline.
