Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic-Airframe to perform maintenance on T/M/S aircraft, including inspection, repair, modification and troubleshooting. The role requires working within a team in hangar/shop environments and may involve off-site service.

Applicants must have at least three years of recent aircraft maintenance experience, corrosion control skills, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. A valid driver’s license and high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ experience within the last eight years in their specific aircraft maintenance occupational field.
• Must have experience in corrosion detection, treatment and prevention.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance - US Citizenship required.
• Valid State Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform organizational, intermediate and limited depot level maintenance on aircraft, components and equipment.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance including repair of airframe components and hydraulic systems.
• Supervise jacking of aircraft and document work in maintenance records; may service airframe components at line station.
• May specialize in work and modification of structural, precision, and functional parts.
