Job summary

Pratt & Whitney CDS in East Hartford is seeking a senior engineer to lead the development and certification of control systems and diagnostics for military, commercial, and industrial engines. The role spans requirements, architecture, design, verification, and life-cycle support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required.
• 8 years of engineering experience or 5 years with an advanced degree.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage control system and airframe interface requirements.
• Analyze, decompose, validate, and document functional requirements.
• Plan software release content with airframer and internal customers.
• Coordinate verification and validation plans for engine/airframe interfaces.
• Support onsite airframer integration, validation & verification as needed.
• Lead root cause investigations with stakeholders.
