Job summary

Pratt & Whitney CDS in East Hartford, CT seeks a Senior Engineer to join the Engine System Software team. You will develop and/or lead software in a DevSecOps pipeline, define requirements, and support verification within Agile framework for military and commercial engine controls.

The role emphasizes cross‑functional collaboration, trade studies, and potential to grow into Scrum Master or Product roles. Onsite work with DoD clearance requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM field required.
• 5 years engineering experience, or advanced degree with 3 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and/or lead software tool development in a DevSecOps pipeline.
• Participate in process improvements and trade studies.
• Develop and/or lead software requirements and designs within Agile.
• Perform software verification within Agile framework and participate in ceremonies.
• Support Agile planning, estimating, and tracking; may serve as Scrum Master, Product Owner, or part of the development team.
