Responsibilities include FHA/FMECA/FTA analyses, safety assessments with airframe customers, and defining robust, fault-tolerant control architectures, with on-site requirement for security clearance potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
• 5 years of engineering experience or 3 years with an advanced degree
• Experience with system safety standards and reliability analysis is preferred

Responsibilities

• Participate in IPTs to develop embedded, real-time control and monitoring systems for military gas turbine engines
• Collaborate with control, engine, and aircraft design engineers
• Conduct FHA, FMECA, FTA and CMA analyses and report results
• Lead Preliminary and final System Safety Assessments with airframe customers
• Coordinate safety activities with internal PW teams and external suppliers
