Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Aircraft Structures Mechanic (Modification Team) to join a dynamic aerospace engineering and modification crew. The role involves in‑seat power, Wi‑Fi, ADS‑B modifications, and various aircraft upgrades, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Primary work will be onsite in Dayton, OH, with extended travel to support long-term assignments. The position requires 5+ years in aircraft sheet metal and structural repairs, blueprint literacy, and experience with

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in aircraft sheet metal repair and structural repair.
Experience in aircraft modification.
Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication.
Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
Experience with riveting, drilling, and countersinking.
Experience with CRJ, ERJ, Boeing, and Airbus aircraft.
Knowledge of sheet metal and composite repair and ADS‑B modifications.

Responsibilities

Perform aircraft modifications and structural repairs.
Conduct sheet metal fabrication and repairs.
Install upgrade kits in accordance with engineering drawings and manufacturer manuals.
Work with a team to ensure installations meet safety and quality standards.
Travel extensively for long‑term assignments to airline maintenance bases.
