Amentum seeks an Aircraft Structural Technician I to perform major repairs and modifications on aircraft structures under supervision. This entry-level role involves manufacturing parts from bulk aviation material, disassembly, reassembly, and ensuring compliance with FAA procedures.

• Candidates must have basic knowledge of airframe maintenance and repair techniques.
• Ability to fabricate parts from bulk aviation material and use related fasteners.

Responsibilities

• Perform major repairs to primary and secondary airframe structures and flight control surfaces per FAA procedures.
• Fabricate new aircraft structures and parts; assess material and fasteners for repairs.
• Layout, disassembly, repair, and reassembly of complete aircraft sections under supervision.
