Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. in Cedar Hill, TX, is seeking an Aircraft Structures Technician (Full Time, On-Site). You will perform sheet metal tasks on airframe components, apply sealants, and maintain shop facilities.

A high school diploma is required; A&P license is welcome but not mandatory. 0–5 years as a sheet metal technician is typical; 5+ years is considered master level. Valid driver’s license is ideal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A&P license not required but welcome.
• Valid driver’s license or passport preferred.
• Journeyman: 0–5 years as sheet metal technician.
• Master: 5+ years as sheet metal technician.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic sheet metal operations: drilling, riveting, cutting on airframe components.
• Apply and remove sealant and finish materials.
• Maintain, clean and repair shop facilities, equipment and tooling.
• Operate shop equipment: brakes, presses, riveters, shears, hand tools for sheet-metal functions.
• Communicate effectively in English.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
