Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Nacelles Technician for the weekend shift in Cedar Hill, TX. The role is on-site and involves basic to advanced sheet metal work, blueprint interpretation, and adherence to FAA guidelines to ensure airframe integrity.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; an Aircraft/Powerplant license is not required but welcomed. The position offers full-time hours with weekend scheduling and competitive benefits upon hire.

Qualifications

• Basic to advanced knowledge of aircraft structures
• Ability to read blueprints and work from drawings
• Knowledge of fastening systems and applying sealants

Responsibilities

• Perform basic sheet metal operations: drilling, riveting, cutting
• Apply and remove sealant, sound deadening and finish materials
• Maintain and repair shop facilities and tooling as needed
• Operate brakes, presses, riveting equipment, shears and related tools
• Navigate electronic training, manuals and maintenance databases
• Communicate clearly in English and follow safety rules
