Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking a Weekend Structures Technician to join our team in Cedar Hill, TX.

The role involves performing sheet metal repairs on turbine aircraft structures, reading blueprints, and working from drawings with a focus on quality and safety. You will report to the MRO Services Manager and collaborate across departments to complete repairs while maintaining a professional, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent; Airframe and Powerplant license preferred.
• A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory.
• Prior aircraft sheet metal repair experience is highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, and cutting on airframe components.
• Apply and remove sealant, sound deadening, and finish materials.
• Maintenance, cleaning, and repair of shop facilities, equipment, and tooling.
• Maintain computer or digital records as required; comply with FAA regulations and internal policies.
• Ensure proper tool control and that work is inspected for airworthiness.
