Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic to perform inspection, maintenance and troubleshooting on assigned aircraft at Edwards, CA. You will follow FAA standards, rely on OEM manuals, and work within a high-tempo flightline environment.

Responsibilities include launch/recovery, routine troubleshooting, component removal/installation, and accurate maintenance documentation. Candidates must have 4+ years of heavy aircraft maintenance and an active FAA A&P certification.

Competenze

• Minimum four (4) years of heavy aircraft maintenance and/or hands-on flightline operations in high-tempo environments.
• Must read, interpret and use manufacturers and aircraft maintenance manuals, service bulletins, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and data tables to determine repair methods.
• FAA Airframe, Powerplant, or A&P certification required.
• Must possess a current state issued driver's license.

Mansioni

• Perform launch, recovery, scheduled and unscheduled inspections/maintenance.
• Troubleshoots and maintains aircraft structures, systems, components, and related equipment; removes and installs components.
• Complete maintenance documentation in maintenance information systems accurately and timely.
• Adhere to Technical Orders, GOPs/SOPs, Air Force Instructions, and directives identified by Site Management or the PWS.
• Perform inspections and maintenance on company aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and manuals.
