Job summary

Amentum seeks an experienced aircraft mechanic to support sensitive HQ USAF operations and VIP transport. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repair aircraft structures, and troubleshoot systems to ensure flight readiness.

Responsibilities include inspections, ground operations, MIS updates, and safety compliance. Must be able to work days, swing, night, or weekend shifts as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivlanet.
• FAA A&P certification or FCC license or military aviation maintenance training with 1+ year experience.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings and technical publications.

Responsibilities

• Support HQ USAF operational plans and safe air transport for VIPs.
• Perform scheduled/unscheduled aircraft maintenance and repairs.
• Inspect aircraft and assist aircrew for flight readiness.
• Operate ground support equipment and document maintenance in MIS.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety; work various shifts as needed.
