Job summary

UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Line Maintenance Supervisor to oversee scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of UPS aircraft in Oakland. The role ensures FAA compliance, assigns workload, and coordinates parts and tools to keep maintenance on time.

You will supervise Aircraft Maintenance Technicians, manage time and attendance, payroll, and training to sustain efficient operations. A valid A&P license and five years of heavy jet maintenance experience are required, plus two years

Qualifications

• Must hold an Airframe and Power Plant license.
• Must meet local age and vehicle operation requirements.
• Minimum 5 years of heavy jet maintenance experience on Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
• Minimum 2 years of supervision experience of Flight Line Maintenance personnel.
• Hangar/Service check/Base Maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors performance of line maintenance AMTs.
• Develops new processes for safe, compliant, and efficient execution of aircraft maintenance.
• Supports maintenance status reporting.
• Maintains gateway quality and environmental compliance.
• Ensures AMTs and utilities complete required training.
