CommuteAir LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities across Line and Heavy maintenance shifts. You will supervise maintenance teams, ensure compliance with FAA requirements, and coordinate planning and budgeting for your location.

The role requires an A&P certificate, leadership skills, and the ability to work within a busy maintenance environment at our DC-area facility. Candidates must be U.S. authorized to work and have tools.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Airframe and Powerplant certificate and required Company authorizations.
• Demonstrate leadership abilities and technical knowledge required to perform the duties of this position.
• Know the appropriate Maintenance Policies and Procedures.
• Must have one year experience as a Certificated Mechanic or Repairman.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude toward productivity, safety and quality of maintenance.
• Hold a valid state issued driver's license and government issued passport.
• Organized with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities regularly.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language.
• Legally authorized to work in the USA.
• Must have own set of tools.

Responsabilités

• Oversees maintenance activities for Line or Heavy maintenance to support aircraft, equipment, and facilities.
• Implements long- and short-range maintenance planning and policies.
• Ensures compliance with FAA, Maintenance Program, and manufacturers’ standards.
• Manages headcount and budget for location as needed.
• Identifies productivity improvements and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Trains and evaluates staff; addresses performance deficiencies.
• Coordinates facility projects and safety programs at the location.
• Acts as liaison between internal and external department leaders.
