Job summary

M1 is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead EHS activities for the Columbus Aircraft Maintenance Program in accordance with the PWS. Primary duties include safety surveillance, enforcement, and program development to protect personnel and assets.

Responsibilities encompass OSHA standards, training, and coordination with internal/external customers. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills in a dynamic defense environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Associates Degree in related field highly desired.
• High School Diploma a minimum.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program-wide safety surveillance, reporting, enforcement, and education activities.
• Ensure all activities align with the Performance Work Statement and applicable orders and policies.
• Develop/implement an Environmental Safety and Occupational Health Program and base safety plan.
• Interface with internal/external customers and higher headquarters as required.
• Attend applicable meetings and interact with customers and company employees professionally.
• Represent the company in attire, manner, and culture.
• Ensure safety and environmental responsibilities are fulfilled per contract requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of safety and environmental issues involving aircraft maintenance.
