Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering/Health, or Occupational Safety and Health.
• 2–5 years of relevant EH&S experience (Level II).
• Excellent working knowledge of federal, state and local regulations.
• Basic understanding of industrial chemicals and their properties.
• Proficiency with Windows applications: MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to investigate potentially hazardous situations.
• Ability to present information effectively to internal and external contacts.
• Preferred certifications in First Aid/CPR/AED, Emergency Response, and other safety programs.
• ITAR eligibility: US Persons only for access to controlled data.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations; maintain EH&S procedures and permits.
• Coordinate safety audits, incident investigations, ergonomic evaluations, storm-water inspections, and emergency supplies.
• Plan and deliver EH&S training, including new-hire safety orientation and material handling assessments.
• Manage hazardous waste handling, storage, labeling, logs, transport, disposal, and regulatory reporting.
• Monitor regulatory changes and communicate impacts; perform site checks and participate in Emergency Response Team.
• Support cross-functional EH&S tasks and perform additional duties as assigned.
