Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Avionics/Electronics Aircraft Mechanic I to perform maintenance checks on flight controls, avionics, and electrical systems, integrating complex software and hardware.

The role requires a valid A&P license or equivalent experience, plus rotary wing experience and ability to obtain facility credentials. Strong troubleshooting and ability to read technical data are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid up-to-date A&P license; or three years aviation maintenance experience if no license.
• Two years rotary wing aircraft experience and two years on the assigned MDS.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance checks on aircraft flight controls, avionics and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment and diagnose repairs; use diagnostic equipment and test instruments.
