Amentum in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Avionics/Electronics Aircraft Mechanic I to support maintenance on flight controls, avionics, and electrical systems. Candidates should have A&P or equivalent aviation maintenance experience and be able to obtain facility credentials, with USA citizenship required for access.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, testing complex avionics, and integration of software/hardware, with duties including tool maintenance and adherence to safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Valid up-to-date A&P license; US Citizenship required for credentials at the work location.
• Three (3) years aviation maintenance experience if no A&P license.
• Two (2) years rotary wing aircraft experience; two (2) years on the assigned MDS.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance checks on flight controls, stabilization systems, avionics and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and diagnose repairs; maintain and test avionics and electrical systems.
• Ensure proper use of tools and testing equipment and interpret technical data.
