Job summary

Cirrus Aircraft Ltd. is seeking a Production Technician in Composites or Assembly to contribute to aircraft assembly. You will learn to use hand tools and pneumatic fixtures, read drawings, and ensure parts meet design specs while maintaining safety and a clean workstation.

Qualifications

• Basic tool handling and appropriate tool selection
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications
• Experience in related manufacturing environments is a plus
• Must be able to work in a safety-conscious environment

Responsibilities

• Learn one discipline/build within the assembly area within 3 months
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Ensure parts fit, alignment, and functional performance per design
• Set up and use bonding, drilling, and holding fixtures
• Install rivets, screws, and bolts with proper tools
• Route wires, cables, and tubing
• Torque hardware using appropriate tools
• Follow and document aircraft build instructions
• Wear PPE including respirator as required
• Learn to mix and apply adhesives, resins, and sealants
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation
