Cirrus is seeking a Production Technician to support composite or assembly operations for aircraft. You will learn to use hand tools and pneumatic fixtures to assemble parts, gaining flexibility and readiness to adapt to various tasks.

The role emphasizes learning multiple disciplines and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Responsibilities include reading drawings, ensuring parts meet design specs, and using fixtures to bond, drill, and secure components.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1-3 years related experience in manufacturing or related fields.
• Knowledge of basic tools and selecting proper tool for the job.

Responsibilities

• Learn one discipline/build/skill within 3 months.
• Read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Understand parts fit, clearance, alignment, and functional performance per design requirements.
• Set up and use bonding, drilling, and holding fixtures; clean as required.
• Install rivets, screws, and bolts with appropriate tools.
• Route wires, cables, and tubing; torque hardware.
• Follow aircraft build instructions and maintain organized workstation.
