Job summary

Pinnacle Industries is seeking a high-performing Outside Sales Representative focused on air compressor systems and compressed air solutions. This role targets industrial buyers and maintenance managers across the Pasadena region, building lasting relationships and expanding the installed base.

Key duties include territory growth, technical solution selling, on-site evaluations, and collaboration with service technicians and inside sales.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of B2B industrial sales experience.
• Experience selling air compressors or compressed air systems.
• Strong knowledge of compressor technologies (rotary screw, reciprocating, dryers, controls).
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Valid driver's license with driving record in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Drive territory growth by selling air compressors, compressed air systems, dryers, filtration equipment, rentals, parts, and service solutions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers on sizing, selection, installation, and optimization.
• Conduct on-site system evaluations and audits to identify inefficiencies and recommend improved compressor solutions.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Build long-term relationships with existing and new customers.
• Collaborate with service technicians and inside sales teams to ensure proper system design and successful implementation.
• Utilize CRM tools to track pipeline activity, quotes, and account development.
• Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings and brand information.
• Effectively understand and use all manufacturers’ programs and resources to generate new business.
• Assist with account management, including collections coordination when needed.
