Responsibilities

• Coordinate air and ocean import shipments from booking through final delivery.
• Manage the full A-Z import process, including shipment tracking and customer updates.
• Prepare and review import documentation, bills of lading, commercial invoices and arrival notices.
• Coordinate with overseas agents, carriers, customs brokers, truckers and warehouses.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delays or operational issues.
• Communicate directly with customers regarding shipment status, documentation and delivery.
• Obtain and review freight rates and arrange transportation as required.
• Ensure shipments comply with applicable U.S. Customs and import regulations.
• Handle shipment billing and ensure accurate documentation and charges.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and update internal systems.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors and overseas partners.

This is a hands-on import operations role responsible for coordinating shipments from origin through final delivery while providing a high level of service to customers. The ideal candidate will have solid experience handling both air and ocean import shipments, with a strong understanding of the full import process and international freight documentation.
