Job summary

White Recruitment is seeking an experienced Air and Ocean Export Manager in Denver to lead the export department and develop the operational team for growth and profitability.

Responsibilities include overseeing bookings to delivery, ensuring compliance, and managing budgets and KPIs while maintaining key customer and carrier relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in air and ocean export freight-forwarding operations.
• Operational management or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of AES filings, export documents, and carrier processes.
• Strong leadership and customer-management skills.
• Certification in IATA, FIATA, or Dangerous Goods preferred.

We are recruiting an experienced Air and Ocean Export Manager for a leading global freight forwarder. This position will lead the export department, develop the operational team and drive service, compliance, profitability and continued growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the air and ocean export team
• Oversee shipments from booking through final delivery
• Monitor productivity, service levels, billing and profitability
• Maintain relationships with customers, carriers and overseas offices
• Ensure compliance with export regulations and operational procedures
• Support pricing, customer retention and new-business implementation
• Manage departmental budgets, KPIs and business plans

Requirements

• Strong air and ocean export freight-forwarding experience
• Previous operational management or supervisory experience
• Knowledge of AES filings, export documentation and carrier processes
• Commercially aware with experience managing departmental performance
• Strong leadership, negotiation and customer-management skills
• IATA, FIATA or Dangerous Goods certification is preferred
