This hybrid role is essential in overseeing international air export shipments from initial booking to final delivery, ensuring full compliance with U.S. and global regulations. The ideal candidate brings in-depth expertise in air export operations, outstanding customer service abilities, and the capacity to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage international air export shipments from start to finish
• Prepare and review export documentation including MAWB, HAWB, commercial invoices, packing lists, and SLI
• Ensure compliance with TSA, CBP, IATA, and other regulatory requirements
• File AES/EEI through ACE in accordance with U.S. export regulations
• Arrange bookings with airlines and negotiate rates when applicable
• Communicate shipment details and updates to customers, overseas agents, carriers, and internal teams
• Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or issues
• Ensure accurate billing and cost control
• Maintain accurate shipment records in the company’s operating system
• Support customer inquiries and provide exceptional service

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in air export freight forwarding
• Strong knowledge of air export documentation and compliance requirements
• Experience with AES filing (ACE system)
• Familiarity with IATA regulations and TSA compliance
• Proficiency in freight forwarding software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
