Job Description: SR Business Solutions Manager | Administrative Recruiter

Ultimate Staffing is currently sourcing an air or ocean export coordinator for our client in the College Park area. This role involves processing air or ocean export shipments from start to finish, ensuring excellent customer service at all times. The position aims to maximize revenue and profit potential of all export opportunities while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Details:
  • Type: Direct Hire
  • Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 per year
  • Work Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours/week
  • Work Environment: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
Responsibilities:
  1. Process air export shipments.
  2. Enter and follow-up on international air export shipments.
  3. Provide high-quality customer support, develop cost-effective routings/quotations.
  4. Develop relationships with a diversified customer base.
  5. Review shipment documentation for compliance.
  6. Prepare air freight quotations and make transportation bookings.
  7. Arrange shipments according to customer SOPs and liaise with relevant departments.
  8. Respond promptly to customer requests.
  9. Ensure compliance with TSA, IATA, BIS regulations.
  10. Be available outside of regular hours as needed.
  11. Monitor shipments and update tracking information.
  12. Complete customs entries accurately.
  13. Meet deadlines and KPIs set by the company and customers.
  14. Manage warehouse dispatches and raise invoices timely.
  15. Review files post-invoicing for accuracy.
  16. Identify profitability improvement areas.
  17. Maintain and grow customer relationships.
  18. Understand customer needs and proactively manage operational files.
Requirements:
  • 4-8 years in the freight forwarding industry, managing shipments from A-Z.
  • Experience negotiating rates.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Knowledge of local and international carriers/routes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with TMS software (Cargowise preferred), Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Must provide industry references and pass pre-employment screening.
