Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Med Evac: within six months obtain Part 135 certification.
• Western Region: within a year obtain CPR and IAMTCS flight-following certification.
• Banner Air: within six months obtain Part 135 certification training.
• Must be computer literate and proficient in Word, Access and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Activates and follows flight/ground teams during missions, with professional communication and documentation.
• Triages and performs multiple critical tasks in a stressful emergency environment calmly.
• Establishes proficiency with emergency and disaster protocols and coordinates with agencies.
• Coordinates medical transport details with aviation, medical and communications departments.
• Inputs flight and ground transport data accurately into the network database per FAA 135 rules.
• Maintains relationships with referring facilities to ensure safe, coordinated transport.
• Notifies administration or agencies in emergencies per policies.
• Functions independently within established protocols and handles unusual situations.
