Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking a Flight Coordinator to manage radio/telephone/computer operations for notifying flight personnel per procedures. This role includes reviewing preflight risk assessments, monitoring flight progress, and maintaining awareness of weather along planned routes to support safe flight operations.

Key duties include responding to customer needs, ensuring accurate data entry and paperwork, and relaying critical information to Pilots in Command and Operational Control

Qualifications

• Strong radio, telephone, and computer operation skills
• Ability to read, write, and understand English clearly
• Capable of accurate data entry and reporting
• Experience with EMS or public safety dispatch preferred

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs and requests.
• Operate radio, telephone, and computer systems per procedures.
• Monitor, track, and log flight progress.
• Assess weather conditions affecting flights.
• Transmit critical flight information to pilots and control staff.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and data for the shift.
• Generate reports and ensure data accuracy.
• Assist in locating incident scenes and choosing quickest safe routes.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Maintain certifications and participate in training and quality activities.
