Job summary

Expeditors in the United States is seeking an Air Import coordinator to ensure the proper and timely movement of freight and information while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will track and trace Air Import files, monitor in-transit delays, enter data into our operating system, and coordinate with outside brokers to meet regulatory and customer requirements.

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills are essential; college degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal skills, including listening, comprehension, and clear communication to obtain positive results.
• Pro-active, strong organizational skills, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good computer skills (Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Smooth and timely freight flow within the Air Import department.
• Accurate and timely data entry into our operating system.
• Track and trace Air Import files as required.
• Daily monitoring of in-transit delays and updating event codes.
• Timely delivery of freight to customers for Import shipments.
• Ensure documents are timely sent to outside brokers for customs purposes.
• Adhere to OPS and external regulations or customer requirements.
• Overseas communications and timely responses to emails and requests.
