Kids for the Future is seeking an Agent II - Air Logistics in Houston, TX. The role sits in the Operations Department and reports to the Account Manager, coordinating freight forwarding tasks within the scope of air export logistics.

Responsibilities include AES filing, documenting shipments, and liaising with USA and overseas offices, agents, and customers to ensure timely delivery, accurate billing, and proactive client communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as an Air Export Agent.
• Familiar with AES filing requirements.
• Desirable: Dangerous Goods IATA/IMDG/DOT.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate AES filing and shipping documentation.
• Review shipping requirements and select cost-effective methods.
• Distribute and release documents to carrier, customers and agents.
• Liaise with USA/overseas offices, agents, contractors and clients.
• Communicate with overseas agents on pre-alerts and docs.
• Provide quotes for transportation, including out-of-gauge cargo.
• Mentor entry level agents and assist Team Lead as needed.
• Ensure timely billing and maintain client updates.
