Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is hiring an Air Export Agent II to coordinate day-to-day export shipments across all modes, delivering high-level operational excellence and world-class customer service. You will handle quotations, bookings, documentation, and cost accruals while ensuring compliance with import/export regulations.

The role emphasizes accuracy, problem solving, and collaboration within a global team, with opportunities for growth and development in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2-4 years freight forwarding experience preferred.
• Dangerous Goods Certification preferred.
• Certified CargoWise Specialist CCO required.
• Advanced knowledge of CargoWise.
• Advanced math & geography skills.
• Identify and resolve problems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to analyze numerical data and understand relationships.

Responsibilities

• Receive and validate customer orders and documentation.
• Identify best routing and transit options per SOP.
• Obtain quotations from vendors and confirm acceptance.
• Process TSA Known Shipper checks and airline bookings.
• Coordinate inland carriage and final cost accruals.
• Notify customers with booking confirmations and milestones.
• Ensure AES data elements and AES filing where applicable.
• Prepare air waybills and supervise document uploads.
